About Mrs. Tacheron
Hello! My name is Savannah Tacheron, and I'm extremely excited to begin this new school year with your students. As a teacher, I don't just teach your children, I work alongside you as their parents to promote a life long love of learning, which cannot be done alone! So, before the school year starts, let me take a moment to introduce myself.
I am blessed and fortunate to be teaching here at Daniel K. Inouye Elementary school. My husband and I just moved here from Fort Benning, Georgia, and will be here for the next three years in the beautiful state of Hawai'i. We are originally from Washington state, so the heat is something new to live with! My passions, besides teaching, are swimming, reading, and art.
I graduated from Central Washington University majoring in Elementary Education with a minor in Literacy. In my time at Central, I had plenty of opportunities to work in the classroom with children, getting hands-on experience with teaching, and I am very confident that your children will be successful this school year. I have made it my goal to be the best teacher that I can be, and I would greatly appreciate your help and support throughout this year. It takes a whole village to raise one child, so let's all join together to make this school year a memorable one!
